ALTERED is the newest vision of action and horror from award winning film director Kely McClung.
ALTERED is being produced by Media Arts International Film Corporation in cooperation and partnership with Next Film, llc and Independent Film Finance, llc.
Though the partnership is new, the relationship is built on nearly ten years of friendship and respect begun when both men, Robert L. Street (IFF) and Kely McClung (MAIFC) worked on films under the Pan Am banner in Miami, Florida.
In active development now, production on ALTERED is slated to begin Spring 2010.
Altered was first conceived five years ago, biding its time as Kely McClung gained more experience, refined his own approach to production, and created the award winning feature films BLOOD TIES and KERBEROS. Kely's first completed short film, A.M. SESSION, was nominated for the pretigous HBO Short Film Awards at the 2007 American Black Film Festival, and currently plays on HBO.
Media Arts International is currently involved in post production on two very different projects:
KERBEROS (even the uncompleted test screening at Indie Fest USA in Disney this year won awards for Best Editing and Best Cinematography) is an action / police thriller, again pushing all boundries of production values and quality of story and acting.
DUST TO HEAVEN is the newest short film written and directed by Kely McClung, and like A.M. SESSION, switches genres to expand MAI's audience and market.
Both films will be completed by winter 2009.
